How much does it cost?

Estimated annual dues (includes Scouting America dues and Pack 3460 dues) are as follows:

• Lion (Kindergarten) and NEW Scouts Dues $205

• Returning Scouts Dues (1st – 5th grade) $205

Between our annual dues and our annual fundraiser, we try to cover most of the Scout expenses for the 12 months of each registration year. 

Examples of items included in dues/fundraising

• BSA Registration, adult leader fees and Unit re-chartering

• Official neckerchief and handbook

• Pack Meetings

• Blue & Gold Ceremony

• Pinewood Derby

• Pack year-end celebration

• Rank Awards (patches)

• Pack and Den Numerals for uniform

• Pack funds also subsidize some costs of several activities for the Scouts – such as Polar Cubs, Fall Day Camp, Family Campouts, Scout Summer camp.

Examples of items not included

• Uniform ($25-45)

• Boy’s Life Magazine (optional)

• Transportation to events

• Contributions to den activities (optional)

• Contributions to year-end pot luck (optional)
